May 27, 2010

When I was stranded in Paris for ten days due to the volcanic eruption I notified all buyers waiting for delivery.Without exception they were understanding and happy to wait.I also contacted you and was told the situation would noted on my account. When I returned home I found that some customers had been confused because my emails had been followed your cancellation emails suggesting that I had already sold the books elsewhere. Some buyers sent a copy of your email to explain why they had felt it necessary to buy elsewhere. As I posted all the remaining outstanding orders the day I arrived in the UK some customers were lucky and received books for which they had received a refund from you.In the end only three customers (total order 6 books)bought elsewhere but it is annoying that these orders are now listed as unfilled despite your assurance this would not be the case.I have already pointed this out to you but have not had a reply.
