Shipping Matrix is supposed to define the ACTUAL time the various delivery services take. For example if a customer in Aus insists on the cheaper Royal Mail surface mail from the UK it is estimated at 8 weeks and as we all know can take up to 12 weeks.
Reference to better customer service shows a lack of understanding by abe. Shipping is totally outside the control of most of the smaller booksellers. It is no good saying that we have to give customers false information. What would give n=better customer service is for abe not to surcharge the postage by a staggering 13.5%.
We are expected to pack, provide the materials and deliver to the post office at no cost to the customer so we have the actual cost of the postage to us + 13.5% for abe which makes the faster international postal service often too expensive for the lower priced items.
