Personalising your Storefront can really help buyers to gain a deeper insight into your bookselling business and, through this, gain trust and loyalty that will lead them back to your shop time after time.
One of the new features of the storefronts on AbeBooks is the ability to upload your own photo, image or logo to the page. This could be your business logo, a photo of your shop, your books or even yourself... It's entirely up to you.
Customising your storefront can be done easily by accessing your Members Menu, going to Your Storefront and then Change/update your storefront as seen in the following images:
To add your image to your storefront, you need to follow the instructions below:
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the box "Use your own image:", click [Browse]
- Select your photo, click [Open] and then [Upload]
- You should receive a confirmation message:
Thank you! Your custom Storefront image has been received. Your image is being processed and will be available shortly. - Refresh your screen and then make sure that the box next to [Your Uploaded Image] is highlighted.
- Select [Save & View Storefront]
