Update 26/08/09 - There are unfortunately no more spaces left to participate in the library tour - we have seen a very large interest in this event and therefore hope to create a similar one in the future! Should you wish your to be placed on a list of reserves who may be contacted if any bookings are cancelled, please let us know using the contact form.
AbeBooks will be in the UK again in September for a special guided tour of Chetham's Library in Manchester followed by a presentation.
Places are unfortunately limited and there are only a few remaining so please let us know quickly if you wish to attend.
Chetham's Library was founded in 1653 and is the oldest public library in the English-speaking world. The Library houses a wonderful collection of items, including medieval manuscripts and an extensive collection of 16th and 17th century printed works. As a bookseller on AbeBooks, Chetham's Library is already familiar with online bookselling and lists some exhibition catalogues and a small number of duplicate items on AbeBooks, making it the perfect site to host an AbeBooks event.

After the tour we will take a short break before continuing with a presentation from AbeBooks on how you can optimise your listings to increase your sales on AbeBooks. We encourage you to bring your questions so that the meeting is as interactive and educational as possible!
